Position: Nuclear Medicine / Radiologic Technologist

Role Overview:

The Nuclear Medicine / Radiologic Technologist plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality patient care through the application of advanced imaging techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct radiographic examinations utilizing ionizing radiation while adhering to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles to ensure patient safety.
  • Oversee and guide staff technologists in the proper operation of radiation-emitting equipment.
  • Perform invasive procedures and examinations involving contrast agents, including both oral and intravenous methods, under the direct supervision of a radiologist.
  • Engage in performance enhancement initiatives within the Radiology department.
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement efforts within the healthcare facility.
  • Implement infection control measures while delivering direct patient care.
  • Conduct safety and control assessments on imaging equipment in accordance with established standards.

Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine. Possession of ARRT (N) or CNMT Registry is mandatory. BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required.
