Job Title: Project Coordinator

ACCO Engineered Systems is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for coordinating all technical activities on assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Project Managers with project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Communicate effectively with project team members, customers, and vendors.
  • Manage project documentation, including proposals, letters, and other project-related documents.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and gather data for energy use, building functions, and structural characteristics.
  • Develop preliminary designs for comprehensive budget/price development.
  • Utilize ACCO standard Engineering technologies and provide technical support for construction efforts.
  • Coordinate installation procedures among Engineering, Construction, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage job progress onsite and oversee daily administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate project personnel activities to ensure project progress on schedule and on budget.
  • Escalate potential problems and assist in driving solutions to their complete resolution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of industry experience or a combination of experience and education.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, lift, push, pull, carry, and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.

Work Environment:

This is a non-exempt position. Workdays are scheduled from Monday through Friday. Typically, work hours begin and end between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm as scheduled with the position's supervisor, with a minimum thirty-minute and maximum one-hour break for lunch, and two rest breaks. Occasional overtime may be necessary per business needs.

Travel: 0 - 5% of the time to and from the assigned office location to regional branch offices and/or to project/customer site(s).

Competitive Wages: $33.31 to $52.88 per hour.
