Position: Conjugation Scientist

Overview:

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in a collaborative team focused on the design and evaluation of therapeutic candidates utilizing protein conjugates. This position involves the advancement of innovative treatments, including antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), nucleic acid conjugates (such as siRNA and antisense), and peptide/small molecule conjugates. The selected scientist will engage closely with colleagues and will take charge of the conjugation, purification, and analytical assessment of these compounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, interpret, summarize, and effectively present experimental findings.
  • Perform additional laboratory tasks, which may include maintaining instruments and managing inventory.
  • While prior experience in bioconjugation is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite for application.

Required Qualifications:

  • A B.S. degree (or equivalent) is essential, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience or training in one or more of the following fields is preferred:
  • Biochemistry
  • Protein science
  • Conjugation chemistry
  • Preparative and/or analytical chromatography
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to solve problems, exhibit strong organizational skills, possess excellent communication abilities, work effectively under deadlines, and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
