Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Specialist to join our team at Santa Clara Pueblo Administrative. As a key member of our construction department, you will be responsible for assisting in the completion of various projects while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work under the direction of the Head Plumber and/or Maintenance Specialist to complete assigned projects
  • Perform all duties and tasks assigned by the Head Plumber and Maintenance Specialist
  • Lift, carry, transport, and hold building materials, tools, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Operate power tools as needed
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 6 months experience or training
  • Valid New Mexico Driver's License and be insurable through the Tribe's carrier
  • No DUI/DWI convictions within a five-year timeframe from any Tribal, State, or Federal Court
  • Pass a background check and drug/alcohol test
Physical Demands:

The employee must be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 75 pounds occasionally. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
