Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cook to join our culinary team. As a Senior Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of menu items to ensure they are nutritious and properly flavored.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the cooking activities of food service associates and ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including entrees and side dishes, following established recipes and guidelines.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, and refrigerators, to ensure they are clean and in good working order.
- Store and label food items according to company policies and procedures.
- Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of food supply.
- Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
- Assist in maintaining accurate daily production records and completing all required documentation, reports, and logs.
- Assist in the cross-training of employees and perform other duties as assigned.
