Men's Tennis Assistant Coach

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the planning of team practices and individual training sessions.
  • Assist in the recruitment of prospective student-athletes.
  • Help coach during dual matches and tournaments.
  • Mentor a diverse and dynamic group of student-athletes.
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Analyze match and practice footage, as well as scout opponents.
  • Foster communication and build relationships with student-athletes, families, faculty, and alumni.
  • Manage home game facilities and/or oversee equipment room duties during the academic year.

Ensure compliance with the policies, procedures, and regulations of relevant organizations, including the NCAA and Liberty League.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the head coach, which are deemed necessary and appropriate.

Work hours may vary and include evenings and weekends for instruction, team travel, recruiting, and scouting. The role will involve various environments, including both indoor and outdoor facilities.



Qualifications:

Applicants must possess an Associate degree or equivalent, along with a minimum of three years of collegiate tennis coaching and/or playing experience.

The ideal candidate will be a positive, energetic, and trustworthy leader with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the flexibility to work a varied schedule.

A valid driver's license and CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain) are mandatory.


Compensation for this position is set at $15,000, with potential opportunities for additional income through teaching youth and adult tennis lessons and camps throughout the year.
