OVERVIEW
The Case Worker plays a vital role in delivering essential intake and enrollment services for clients eligible for Refugee Cash and Medical Assistance programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate intake and orientation processes for clients entering the Refugee Cash and Medical Assistance program.
- Develop personalized service plans tailored to the specific needs of each client.
- Collaborate with various Catholic Charities programs to ensure comprehensive client enrollment.
- Administer client cash benefits while ensuring accurate documentation.
- Maintain detailed case notes and client files.
- Stay updated on Catholic Charities offerings and community resources.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for program enhancements.
- Prepare and submit all required reports with precision and timeliness.
- Engage in community partnerships and foster relationships with relevant organizations.
- Uphold confidentiality standards and manage client records securely.
- Actively participate as a team member at Catholic Charities, remaining accessible to both staff and clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Exhibit cultural sensitivity and awareness.
- Demonstrated ability to manage program budgets effectively.
- Capable of working independently and with diverse populations.
- Comfortable operating within a faith-based environment.
- Proficient in various software applications.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Adept at building positive community relationships.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel as necessary within the designated region.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Experience:
- Relevant experience working with diverse populations, ideally in refugee social service programs.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Texas driver's license.
- Certification in Diocese of Austin EIM required within 60 days of employment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Catholic Charities operates as an at-will employer.
