Job Opportunity at Loving Shepherd Early Learning Center

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Loving Shepherd Early Learning Center. As a Toddler Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development in children.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents through our center's app to keep them informed about their child's daily activities.
  • Report any accidents, illnesses, or unusual behaviors to the director, assistant director, and parents.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 credits in Early Childhood Education/Development or a CDA.
  • Bachelor's and Associate's Degrees welcomed.
  • In-progress education will be considered, and we support your learning and development.
  • Previous early childhood experience preferred.
  • A passion for working with preschool children.
  • Patient, nurturing, and thoughtful.
  • Team player.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Maintaining discretion around children's records.

  • Free Meals - breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack (staff are encouraged to eat with the children and be a good role model whenever possible, however staff can also eat meals during their breaks).
  • Paid Prep Time/Planning Time (2 hours per week for all teachers).
