Position Summary:

This role involves establishing an architectural vision and solution that aligns with the strategic goals of the organization’s products and services. Key responsibilities include defining the target operating environment, ensuring client resilience, assisting in solution design, and outlining non-functional requirements.

The successful candidate will be a highly skilled Lead Architect, playing a vital role in our technology resiliency team. This individual will collaborate with technical service owners to evaluate application recovery capabilities across various failure scenarios and design effective data validation and testing strategies. Collaboration with production support, engineering, core infrastructure functions, developers, and architects is essential. The Lead Architect will report directly to the head of Global Resiliency and Business Continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across business, operations, and technology to develop the architectural vision for complex solutions, prioritizing functional and non-functional requirements into a technology backlog.
  • Contribute to the architecture roadmap for defined domains (Business, Application, Data, and Technology) in support of the product roadmap and best practices.
  • Clarify architectural designs, assist with system implementation, and provide solutions to architectural challenges.
  • Facilitate solution-driven discussions, lead the design of intricate architectures, and devise innovative solutions while ensuring flexibility and adaptability.
  • Educate team members on technology practices, standardization strategies, and best practices to foster innovative solutions.
  • Support the selection of technology stacks and preferred technology products for solutions.
  • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure all non-functional requirements are met, including security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability.

Required Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of full stack build techniques, automation, and data protection.
  • Hands-on experience with the ability to provide guidance and actively participate in planning and testing activities.
  • Capability to assimilate information and work with multiple distinct services and critical applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time-sensitive issues effectively.
  • Ability to identify connections and think holistically across business lines.
  • Proactive leadership skills to ensure team success and foster a positive team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.

Desired Qualifications:
