About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medicine Aide to join our team at Genesis Healthcare. As a Certified Medicine Aide, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and medicated creams to patients as prescribed by physicians and document administration according to policy.
  • Maintain medication supplies, clean and restock medicine carts and medicine rooms.
  • Notify pharmacies of new medication orders and refills.
  • Perform accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a state-approved medication aide training course.
  • Completion of a state-approved certified nursing assistant training program.
  • Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with one year of experience as a CNA.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients and visitors.
