Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team as a Floater across Nassau and Suffolk region, NY. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and customer-focused service, performing venipuncture on patients of all ages, and collecting/processing non-blood specimens.

• Provide patient-centered care and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients
• Collect and process blood and non-blood specimens for laboratory testing
• Ensure accurate and timely specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control in the laboratory

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
