Job Summary

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing department, ensuring efficient production processes and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise hourly workforce in the manufacturing department
  • Schedule production lines and maintain productivity
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory control and cycle counts
  • Develop and implement performance measurements and work schedules
  • Provide training to direct reports on production, material handling, equipment, safety, and hazardous materials
  • Maintain the production area in good housekeeping order according to OSHA guidelines
  • Adhere to and promote all company safety rules and requirements
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Supervise hourly workforce within the department and be responsible for performance management and hiring
  • Coach, mentor, and develop hourly workforce
  • Provide mentoring and training for production, safety, quality, inventory control, etc.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to plan, organize, and direct production workflow
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and basic MS Excel
  • Bilingual preferred
Work Environment

The employee will work in an office environment or enclosed office space and will be exposed to a warehouse environment on a frequent basis.

Physical Demands

The employee will be required to lift up to 35 pounds and will be able to complete frequent lifting, standing, and walking up to 8 hours.
