Laboratory Analyst II

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Analyst II to join our team at Eurofins USA Environment Testing. As a Laboratory Analyst II, you will be responsible for performing routine laboratory tasks, preparing and analyzing environmental samples, and maintaining and troubleshooting Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry equipment.

• Prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical techniques
• Maintain and troubleshoot Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry equipment
• Perform routine laboratory tasks, including preparation of samples and calculation of data
• Record and report data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor
• Perform routine instrument maintenance and ensure compliance with Eurofins' EHS and QA standards

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field
• 3 years laboratory experience may substitute for degree
• Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry experience required
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English

• Full-time position with overtime as needed
• Competitive pay rate of $20/hour, negotiable depending on experience
• 10% shift differential for 2nd shift work
