Join Trinity Health as a Critical Care Nurse Residency Full Time Nights and embark on a rewarding career journey. Our Critical Care Residency program is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this challenging and rewarding field. As a resident, you will gain experience through Idaho's only critical care residency program that is recognized by the Idaho State Board of Nursing and meets the standards for Department of Labor's registered apprenticeships. You will develop and refine your skills in a supportive environment while focused on critical care. Our residency program includes didactic and hands-on learning philosophies over a 6-month period, providing you with the necessary education, skills development, and training to feel competent when caring and responding to critically ill patients. You will also have the opportunity to grow and advance in your nursing career, working in an 18-bed unit with a dedicated leadership team that will support you through your journey. Our network of experienced nurses will mentor and support your professional development, providing you with the resources to enhance and refine your clinical skills in a critical care setting. You will receive education that expands the full spectrum of critical care conditions, participate in teachings that include ethics, resiliency, and simulations, and have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population. To be eligible for this opportunity, you must have an Idaho or multistate RN license required by residency start date and an active and unexpired Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification from either AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network. Additional certifications may be required depending on the unit.
