SUMMARY OF ROLE:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit at a leading Trauma Center. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to patients in critical condition.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide exceptional nursing care in a medical ICU, utilizing advanced clinical skills to assess and monitor critically ill patients.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of experienced nurses to ensure a compassionate and supportive care environment.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and innovative practices to enhance patient care and workflow efficiency.
  • Implement evidence-based protocols to maintain patient safety and comfort.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary rounds to improve patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records regarding patient conditions and treatments.
  • Make informed decisions swiftly in emergency situations.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and recovery processes, providing emotional support.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and responses to treatments diligently.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Current RN license in Idaho or a multistate license.
  • Must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within a specified timeframe.
  • BLS certification required upon hire.
  • ACLS certification must be obtained within a designated period after hire.
  • PALS certification required within a specified timeframe after hire.
