Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Infection Control Specialist to join our team at Tribal Health. As an Infection Control Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and following Infection Control, Employee Health, and Disinfection and Sterilization program policies and procedures. You will maintain current knowledge of infection control practices and use CDC, CMS, The Joint Commission, County and State, APIC regulations, standards or guidelines to recommend changes in infection control practices and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and follow Infection Control, Employee Health, and Disinfection and Sterilization program policies and procedures.
  • Maintain current knowledge of infection control practices and use CDC, CMS, The Joint Commission, County and State, APIC regulations, standards or guidelines to recommend changes in infection control practices and procedures.
  • Serve as a resource to the Sage Memorial employees, complete written/oral reports and or recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team, as necessary concerning infection control and employee health.
  • Assist in tracking all infectious diseases, provide education and follow up as necessary.


Requirements:

  • Certifications/Licensure: Compact and AZ License, BLS (AHA), Certificate in Infection Control CIC.
  • 4 years of experience in a clinical setting with knowledge of Infection Control.
  • Previous management/supervisory role as RN.
  • COVID vaccine required.

Pay: $2,539.00 per week
