Position Overview


Peraton is seeking a Cyber Security Technical Lead to serve as a Subject Matter Expert in support of critical operations within the Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order.

The Cyber Security Technical Lead collaborates closely with the Enterprise Deputy Program Manager to fulfill program requirements and achieve performance goals.

This role is pivotal in delivering Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to ensure the security and functionality of network operations, system infrastructure, and user support for various commands and deployed forces.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical support in executing SITEC 3 EOM requirements.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Cyber Security protocols, DoD standards, and both offensive and defensive cyber operations.
  • Support cybersecurity defense initiatives for various networks, ensuring compliance with national and DoD security regulations.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate complex threats.
  • Engage in cybersecurity engineering support for various communication networks and systems.
  • Advocate for best practices in cybersecurity hygiene and collaborate with industry partners to enhance technology solutions.


Essential Duties

  • Deliver on-site support for Cybersecurity engineering tasks.
  • Perform network audits and recommend corrective actions based on findings.
  • Monitor operations for trends and anomalies to enhance performance.
  • Analyze network topologies to secure data flows across diverse environments.
  • Identify and implement industry-leading applications and network devices for optimal security.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation and certification standards for all systems.


Qualifications


Required:

  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
  • 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 10 years with a Master's degree. Equivalent experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Proven track record in IT operations and infrastructure, with at least five years in specialized roles.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing complex computing environments.
  • Strong technical writing skills and experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • DoDD M IASAE Level III certification (CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP).


Desired:

  • Certifications such as CEH, Cloud+, and CySA+ are preferred.
