We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Lincoln Property Company. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing general preventative maintenance and corrective repair of building systems, equipment, and grounds.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting.
- Respond to Work Orders: Promptly respond to and complete work orders and PMs in our CMMS system, including tasks such as light bulb replacement, hot/cold calls, and repair of locks and doors.
- Inspect and Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment, including HVAC units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems, to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
- Oversee Outside Contractors: Oversee and inspect work performed by outside contractors to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Manage Inventory and Supplies: Maintain an accurate inventory of lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and other building-related supplies and tools.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, employees, and visitors to ensure a positive and professional experience.
- HS Diploma or Equivalent: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical Training or Experience: Technical training or experience in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, or plumbing.
- Commercial Building Maintenance Experience: At least 5-8 years of experience in commercial building maintenance.
- Valid Driver's License: Valid, clean driving record and ability to adhere to our company vehicle policy and procedures.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, employees, and visitors.
