Machinist Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of industrial equipment to produce high-quality parts.

• Load, operate, and unload industrial equipment, including lathes, saws, and grinders.
• Ensure parts meet specified tolerances using precision gages.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
• Participate in quality control processes to ensure high-quality parts.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter data into databases.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.

• Experience with industrial equipment and precision machining techniques.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
