As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Responsibilities:- Provide hands-on care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition, including skin, behavior, alertness, weight, dietary, and participation in activities.
- Respond promptly to security system alerts and resident call bells.
- Notify supervisors and healthcare coordinators of any increased care needs.
- Assist with continence management and maintain the cleanliness of resident suites and community restrooms.
- Serve and collect food trays, and assist with meal service as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
- Practice good standard care precautions, including cleanliness, hygiene, and health.
- Help residents maintain independence and promote their dignity and physical safety.
- Participate in and lead activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, and eating.
- Engage residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
- Greet and assist internal and external customers, guests, family members, residents, vendors, and team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Certified Nurse's Aide certification preferred.
- High School diploma/GED.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
