Prepared Food Associate

The Prepared Food Associate at Sam's Club is responsible for preparing fresh food items daily for our members. This includes following recipes, organizing food preparation, and ensuring high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food
- Maintain the Sales Floor in accordance with Company policies and procedures
- Ensure shelves are clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser-quality food products
- Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources
- Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; understand and plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
- Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the area; utilize digital tools; manage high-exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards
