Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Host/Hostess to join our team at Denny's in Roseburg, OR. As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets guests promptly and warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Seats guests at clean and dry tables, utilizing proper seating rotation and ensuring a comfortable dining experience.
  • Determines and meets special needs of guests, providing exceptional service and attention to detail.
  • Maintains a clean and organized foyer area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Assists service personnel in providing beverage orders and refills, clearing and setting tables, and ensuring a smooth service flow.
  • Addresses complaints promptly and courteously, notifying the supervisor of any issues and ensuring a resolution.
  • Completes all required side-work, including deep cleaning assignments, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Meets Denny's uniform and grooming standards and maintains them throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
  • Excellent guest service skills and ability to provide exceptional service.
  • Dependability and ability to learn basic tasks and follow instructions.
