Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Systems Engineer to join our team at Power3 Solutions and Partnering Companies. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale IT systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure network systems and software engineering solutions for both public and private sectors
  • Collaborate with certified experts to address customer missions and follow through on systems development life cycles
  • Install, configure, and network Linux and Windows-based platforms
  • Manage servers running Red Hat, CentOS, SolarisX64, SuSe, Virtual Appliances, with direct attached and FC SAN storage
  • Administer large SPU, memory SMP systems and clusters with many cores
  • Configure enterprise client server configurations, including Group Policy, Centrify, DNS, LDAP
  • Develop and implement Linux scripting, Logical Volume Management, and Distributed Filesystems
  • Troubleshoot PXE and DHCP boot processes
  • Manage multi-vendor filesystems, such as XFS, GPFS, and CXFS, EXT4, CIFS, NFS
  • Administer clustered Blade systems and associated interconnects, including iSCSI, SAD, FC, TCP/IP, etc.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10 years of demonstrable experience in system administration and support of large client-server based IT enterprises
  • Industry-recognized professional certification, such as RHCSA or higher Red Hat certification, MCSE, vMWare
