Oklahoma Clinic Team Lead

The University of Oklahoma seeks a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our clinic.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for examination by having charts ready and ensuring all necessary information is available.
- Collect and process patient samples, including blood and urine, for analysis or shipment.
- Take and record vital signs, such as heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure, weight, and body temperature.
- Makes follow-up appointments and answers routine questions from patients, family members, or caregivers.
- Collect laboratory reports, data, and records, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Administer medication under the direction of a physician or other medical personnel.
- Lead and evaluate the work of some personnel, including Clinic Clerks, Medical Assistants, and Licensed Practical Nurses.
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
- 24 months of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Knowledge of techniques for diagnosing and treating injuries and diseases, including treatment alternatives, drug properties, and interactions.
- Familiarity with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in stressful situations.
- Detail-oriented and organized approach to work.
- Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Certifications: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Oklahoma, Registered as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Oklahoma, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
