CT Lead Technologist Float Specialist

Leads the daily operations of assigned department's services, ensuring quality image, patient care, and workflow. Monitors patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy.
Responsibilities- Ensures quality image, patient care, and workflow.
- Monitors patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy.
- Oversees quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Serves as a resource to department staff and other team members as needed.
- Performs staff orientation, training, and coaching, providing input to staff performance evaluations.
- Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
- Ensures all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
- Ensures prompt submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS.
- Assists in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department.
- Performs the duties of a CT Technologist.
- Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Associate's degree or completion of a Radiology certification program and registered in CT & Radiology.
- Two years' experience.
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA).
- ARRT-CT Computed Tomography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Works in a dynamic environment, floating between different locations in Madison, WI area.
