At Smith+Frieberg Financial, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Specialist to join our team. As an Associate Financial Planner, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional client service and supporting our clients in achieving long-term financial success.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000 depending on experience.

In this role, you will work closely with senior financial advisors and clients to develop and implement tailored financial plans. This involves creating comprehensive financial plans, preparing customized proposals, conducting client review meetings, and ensuring every interaction is rooted in trust and professionalism.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular client review meetings to discuss financial plans, investment strategies, and performance.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through proactive communication and personalized advice.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance clients' financial well-being and recommend appropriate solutions.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Licensing: Must be licensed or willing to obtain appropriate licenses (e.g., Series 7, 65/66, or insurance licenses).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, financial planning, or a related field preferred. CFP designation or progress toward earning it is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles and products.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in financial planning software and tools.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
