POSITION SUMMARY:
BB&E is in search of a (Full-Time REMOTE) Operations Maintenance Program Specialist to provide support for the Operations Maintenance team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver program management assistance to the Operations Maintenance team concerning the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program.
- This includes supporting PM program evaluations, performing data analysis related to PM, aiding in the development of PM action plans, and assisting in the creation of standardized business processes.
- Conduct program reviews and data assessments to ensure the PM program aligns with established policies and supports the overall mission.
- Act as a resource for base-level teams regarding PM program management, providing insights and action plans to enhance the PM program's effectiveness.
- Update and publish materials that support standardized business processes, ensuring efficient workflows and capturing best practices.
- Provide guidance to the Operations Maintenance team and base organizations on PM program management.
- Support will be delivered through virtual means and occasional on-site visits.
- Conduct site visits to assess PM programs and offer management support for program development.
- Review and maintain program-related publications and materials to ensure they are current and accessible.
- Compile and submit formal reports post-program reviews, detailing participant engagement, observations, and recommendations.
- Reports are expected to be submitted promptly following the conclusion of reviews.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
- A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or higher in Logistics, Business, Management, or Engineering, or 15+ years of relevant experience in managing Preventive Maintenance programs.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of related experience is required.
- Experience in providing technical support for CE PM capabilities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with various personnel.
- Experience in preparing and delivering presentations.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience in logistics for site visits, including coordination and funding.
- Ability to analyze problems within the PM program and propose actionable solutions.
- Capability to create data visualizations that clarify PM program insights.
- Familiarity with NexGen IT PM systems and related processes.
- Knowledge of relevant management systems and how they relate to PM programs.
- In-depth understanding of DAF CE transformation and related guidelines.
- US Citizenship and an active Secret Security Clearance are required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
- Capable of operating standard office equipment.
- Light lifting may be required.
- Willingness to conduct on-site visits as necessary.
