PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Assist the school nurse in maintaining accurate records and providing basic first aid care and screenings at the campus level. Work under the guidance of a licensed registered nurse.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid Texas license issued by the Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners necessary. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills required. Proficient in keyboarding and file maintenance. Ability to use personal computers and software for database development and word processing. One year of experience in a health-related position, including interaction with school-age children, preferred.
Calendar: 187
Minimum hourly: $18.11/ hour
