Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Helio Health is a leading provider of substance use and mental health treatment services. We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Utica, NY.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will work in a variety of clinical settings, providing medical and counseling services as a member of our multi-disciplinary treatment team. This is a full-time position, working out of our OTP location.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical and counseling services to clients in a variety of clinical settings.
  • Monitor and document clients' medical status, signs and symptoms of withdrawal, and report to supervisor or medical director.
  • Work with other medical staff for continuity of clients' medical care.
  • Communicate with clinical staff regarding clients' medical concerns.
  • Provide direct client care, including medical assessment, implementation of medical orders, and communicable and infectious disease reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a licensed practical nurse currently registered by the New York State Education Department.
  • Experience and/or training in the treatment of substance abuse and/or substance dependency preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required.
