Position Overview:

The Arizona Official Website of State of Arizona is in search of a qualified polygraph examiner. The selected individual will be responsible for conducting polygraph tests for employment evaluations and criminal investigations. Additional related responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

This role is classified as UNCOVERED and the incumbent operates under the authority of the Director of the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Key Responsibilities:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have successfully completed a polygraph training program accredited by the American Polygraph Association and possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience in criminal investigations or polygraph testing.

Pre-Employment Requirements:
Applicants are required to undergo an examination process, including a polygraph test and a comprehensive background check. DPS maintains a drug-free workplace and mandates pre-employment drug screening.
If the position involves driving or the use of a vehicle as a fundamental aspect of the job, the following requirements will apply: Driver's License Requirements. All newly hired State employees must successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify).
