Position Overview

The Operating Room Surgical Specialist plays a crucial role in the care and preparation of surgical patients and the operating environment under the direct supervision of a registered nurse in the operating room.

This position involves the assembly, setup, and utilization of surgical instruments and equipment throughout surgical procedures.

While work situations are generally routine, they may swiftly transition to urgent or critical scenarios, necessitating both guided and independent decision-making based on the circumstances.

Qualifications
National certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
CPR certification is mandatory.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience is required.

The pay scale is $43.73 USD.
