Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Merchandise product displays to create an attractive and engaging shopping experience
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and disposing of trash
  • Proactively seek opportunities to upsell and add-on additional merchandise to enhance the customer experience
  • Proactively patrol the store to prevent theft, safety, inventory, and operational concerns, and communicate them to the appropriate individuals
  • Maintain schedule flexibility, including nights, weekends, days, evenings, and holidays
  • Complete assigned duties and tasks, and follow applicable company policies and procedures
  • Ensure and use safe practices at all times

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail customer service experience preferred
  • Computer literacy and ability to operate in a PC environment
  • Ability to lift and handle objects weighing 50lbs or more in a safe manner
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and move around the store

Physical Requirements:

  • Bending, stooping, reaching, standing, lifting, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive tasks

Supervisory Functions:

  • Minimal supervisory functions, typically assisting the janitorial staff as needed
