Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of litigation, from case initiation to trial and appeal.
  • Represent clients in court and make regular court appearances.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to inform case strategies and stay current with laws and regulations.
  • Draft, review, and respond to discovery requests and other legal documents.
  • Oversee case management, including claim investigations, damage evaluations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and team members to ensure efficient case management.
  • Deliver exceptional client service through regular communication and updates on case status.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed attorney in good standing with a minimum of 5 years of litigation experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in trial work, personal injury, asbestos cases, and legal research.
  • Skilled in drafting and responding to discovery requests.
  • Strong courtroom presence with extensive experience in court appearances.
  • Excellent legal research and analytical abilities.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to manage a high-volume caseload and work effectively under pressure.
  • Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
