About the Role:

We are looking for a Physical Therapist with experience in acute care settings to provide high-quality therapy services to our pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and be passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients with a range of diagnoses and conditions.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and goals.
  • Provide hands-on therapy sessions, including exercises, activities, and interventions to promote patient progress and independence.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
  • 1 year of experience in acute care settings, preferably in pediatric physical therapy.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
