About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Cooperstown Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nutrition care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Nutrition Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of residents' nutritional needs and develop personalized care plans to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Menu Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with our culinary team to plan and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents.
  • Staff Education and Training: Provide ongoing education and training to our staff on nutrition-related topics to ensure they have the knowledge and skills needed to provide high-quality care.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure our nutrition care services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian in a healthcare setting.
  • Certifications: Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff.
