Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Representative to join our team at Staffing Now. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of inventory and orders from receipt to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process sales orders for products, including answering inquiries regarding availability, prices, and shipping promises.
  • Obtain necessary information from the Sales Department on special orders and send quotes to customers and/or salespersons via email or fax.
  • Process sales orders on standard form and enter into the computer, filling in complete data, including product descriptions, prices, discounts, and shipping information.
  • Make revisions to edited orders in the ERP system and distribute copies as directed.
  • Send daily order acknowledgements via the Acom system.
  • Prepare and issue credit memos as necessary.
  • Answer calls from outside regarding product information, technical data, and other customer inquiries.
  • Enter product values of open orders into Excel for sales reports and cutting schedules.
  • Schedule pickups, truck, and rail shipments daily, based on product inventory, and communicate time frames to customers.
  • Communicate changes to orders with the Shipping Department.
  • Perform data entry into forms and reports, including customer lists, labels, and other documents.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • 2 Years of experience in an office support role
  • Experience in a manufacturing or factory environment is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and familiarity with ERP Systems
Qualifications
  • Ability to effectively prioritize assignments to meet long-term and short-term deadlines
  • Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have a cell phone or home land line
