Requirements

Working Conditions

Officers must be able to observe, walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, and stretch or drive for extended periods of time in various weather conditions. Ability to run, climb stairs, and carry fire extinguishers or other emergency equipment. Help restrain or lift a person; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.
