Job Summary:

Methodist Home for Children is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Staff to join our team. As a Direct Support Staff, you will play a vital role in providing essential program services to intervene with adolescents in a residential group home setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement direct treatment services using MHC's care model.
  • Provide residential care services.
  • Engage with adolescents, families, volunteers, and community representatives within the youth home and the broader community.

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma with experience working with the client population.
  • Must maintain a valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended periods.

  • Paid Holidays: MHC offers full-time employees paid holidays each year.
  • Vacation Leave: Pro-rated at 10 days (80 hours) per year for the first partial calendar year of hire.
  • Sick Leave: Accumulates at 12 days (96 hours) per calendar year, with unused sick leave carrying over into the next year.
