Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of our retail store facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of building systems, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage and direct maintenance technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
  • Evaluate building systems to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed, and assess facilities to plan work assignments and project schedules.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules, and ensure that maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects, and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; at least five years of maintenance experience preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
  • Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems, and excellent management and supervisory skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Competencies
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment, with excellent customer service, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proactive mindset and high energy.
Work Environment

The work environment is primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor work in a retail store setting.
