Culligan is seeking a skilled Water Production Specialist to join our team in Fairfield, OH. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our bottling plant.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Equipment: Safely operate carts, dollies, fork lifts, lift gates, hand trucks, and hand tools to move materials and products throughout the plant.
- Inventory Management: Complete daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reporting to ensure accurate tracking of materials and products.
- Production Support: Stage the bottling area to begin daily production runs, test water at startup, and maintain a minimum 3-day float of 5 and 3-gallon water bottles.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Help clean and repair coolers to ensure they are in good working condition for sales and delivery.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain daily IBWA/NSF required paperwork and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Shutdown and Cleanup: Manage the daily shutdown and cleanup of the production area, and in some cases, bring in trucks for shutdown.
- Overtime and Flexibility: Be available to work overtime as needed to meet production deadlines.
- Company Policies: Adhere to all company policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Safety and Security: Perform all duties in accordance with safety and security standards, and wear required safety equipment.
- Chemical Handling: Read and understand material safety sheets related to testing and production chemical use.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Background Check: Subject to a drug screen and background check in accordance with state and federal laws.
This role requires working in a fast-paced production environment with exposure to non-toxic chemicals and water.
