Job Summary:
Baptist Health seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to provide diabetes education services to patients and staff. As a RN Diabetes Educator, you will be responsible for delivering diabetes education in accordance with national standards and ADA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diabetes education to patients and staff in accordance with national standards and ADA
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance diabetes care
- Participate in community events related to diabetes education
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure
- Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist certification
- 6 months of NCDBE eligibility or extension granted
