Job Title: Field Service Diesel Technician-Commercial Marine

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Diesel Technician-Commercial Marine to join our team in Southern Louisiana. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on large vessels, rigs, tugs, and OSV, with a focus on Cummins, GE, and Wabtec engines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and repairs using diagnostic tools
  • Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
  • Develop and maintain expertise on new and existing Cummins products
  • Maintain own hand tools, with specialty tools provided
  • Work on commercial marine projects, including engine overhauls and troubleshooting
Requirements:
  • Intermediate level of workshop experience required
  • Intermediate level knowledge of engine products
  • Ability to complete complex internal engine repairs
  • Ability to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic tools
  • Larger, more complicated engine rebuilds

This role requires a valid driver's license and a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations. A vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution is also required.
