Hourly Rate: $27.55

Position Summary:Under the general supervision of a Supervisor, the employee will engage in customer and field operations related to inquiries, billing, adjustments, collections, and account management. The role serves as a bridge between departments and customers, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Address and resolve customer inquiries regarding billing, meter readings, collections, and service applications.
- Process payments for water bills, manage cash drawers, and prepare daily bank deposits.
- Handle incoming mail and ensure proper routing and processing.
- Maintain accurate records related to meter and customer accounts, including field orders and consumption reports.
- Respond to calls and requests from customers and field personnel, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Utilize standard office equipment and customer service software effectively.
- Welcome visitors and provide appropriate direction within the facility.
- Operate the telephone switchboard, managing incoming and outgoing calls.
- Perform miscellaneous customer service tasks as assigned by management, including email and website inquiries.
- Work schedule: Monday to Saturday.
Education:
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
