Job Summary:

The Kelly Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Plant Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and direct maintenance crews in a grain handling and/or processing environment. This role requires strong leadership and technical skills to ensure maintenance operations are in compliance with schedules and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct maintenance crews to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Perform equipment maintenance on various types of mechanical equipment, including belt conveyors, bucket elevators, drag chains, grain cleaners, screw conveyors, etc.
  • Show familiarity with different types of bearings and setting tolerances and taper locks
  • Perform rigging and hoisting to properly move materials via the use of cranes and/or hand signaling to an operator
  • Perform and demonstrate the ability to complete work using safe work practices, and ensure maintenance crews are following the same practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OSHA 30-hour or equivalent training
  • Capable of performing welding (SMAW) work and using a torch
  • Ability to fabricate iron
  • Plant and preventive maintenance experience
  • Industrial construction experience
  • Ability to align shafts utilizing a laser alignment tool
  • Ability to perform belt splicing and maintenance for conveyors and bucket elevators
