Position Overview:
In this position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Hostile Forces - Tagging, Tracking, and Locating initiative while integrating projects with Unmanned Systems (UxS) capabilities. Your responsibilities will encompass translating operational needs into engineering specifications, conducting thorough technical analyses, and providing recommendations for operational protocols for Special Operations Forces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess technical requirements and needs
- Convert operational needs into precise engineering specifications
- Conduct technical evaluations throughout the development phases
- Formulate and suggest operational guidelines for systems
- Engage in research and offer recommendations for equipment procurement
- Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) representing the customer
- Participate in system planning and logistics activities
- Willingness to travel as necessary
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Possession of a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Onsite presence required
Essential Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years in Special Operations or engineering roles
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
- Familiarity with Unmanned Systems and multi-domain operational environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Capability to manage equipment weighing up to 40 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over 10 years of experience in Special Operations
- ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in advanced waveform signal processing and system software architectures
- Operational integration of sophisticated sensor systems
