Immediate Opening for Operating Room Technician

Available for Local or Travel Contracts

Compensation: $54.50/hr (Travel package options available)

This position is essential for delivering skilled perioperative patient care through the utilization of surgical equipment and instruments. The role involves assisting the physician during surgical and/or invasive procedures as a scrub assistant. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and adhere to the Surgical Technologist Skills Inventory, leveraging your expertise to serve as a resource and role model for fellow staff members.

  • Assist the surgical team during procedures.
  • Maintain a sterile environment and manage surgical instruments.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and current certification as a Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
