The Perfect Binder Operator will be responsible for executing a variety of tasks related to the cutting, folding, gluing, trimming, binding, and finishing of printed materials. By adhering to job specifications and conducting trial runs, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the final product aligns with our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and follow work order instructions accurately.
  • Set up and calibrate Perfect Binder machinery with precision.
  • Assemble pages for the binding process.
  • Operate and fine-tune bindery equipment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  • Follow Quality Control protocols diligently.
  • Assist in training and mentoring Bindery Associates.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Execute assigned tasks proficiently.
Required Knowledge and Skills:

· Ability to work 12-hour shifts and accommodate overtime as necessary.

· Excellent communication skills and reliable attendance.

· Mechanical skills and intermediate proficiency in mathematics.

· Competence in using hand tools and measuring instruments.

· Physically capable of lifting heavy items and performing manual labor.

· Familiarity with machinery schematics and parts lists.

· Openness to learning and adapting to new techniques.

· High School diploma or equivalent educational background.
