MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist to join our team at Prisma Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and working collaboratively with patients and medical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff
- Prepare scan rooms and equipment for procedures
- Administer contrast materials as prescribed by a physician
- Implement emergency procedures as needed
- Perform quality control tasks to ensure equipment and procedures meet standards
- Provide clinical instruction to staff technologists and students
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT registered in Radiology & MRI, or ARRT registered in MRI, or ARMRIT-American Registry of MRI certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
