Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Prisma Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and working collaboratively with patients and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort by screening patients and staff for magnet safety, and communicating effectively with patients and medical staff.
  • Perform quality control tasks to ensure equipment is functioning properly and meets standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure accurate and timely image interpretation.
  • Provide clinical instruction and training to staff technologists and students.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • ARRT registered in Radiology & MRI, or ARRT registered in MRI, or ARMRIT-American Registry of MRI certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position working evening shifts at our Greer Medical Campus.
