Patient Access Representative 2, Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative 2 to join our team at The University of Miami. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, while maintaining a professional and welcoming demeanor.
Key Responsibilities- Greet visitors and direct them to their requested destination.
- Answer incoming calls and place outgoing calls in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service to further a positive institutional image.
- Respond to general questions and inquiries, and forward non-routine requests to appropriate staff.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, such as sorting departmental mail and troubleshooting office equipment.
- Maintain department directories and visitation logs.
- Maintain a tidy and clean reception area.
- Place orders for department supplies as requested by department leadership.
- Project a professional appearance and pleasant demeanor, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures, and safeguard University assets.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- General knowledge of office procedures and operations.
- Skill in data entry with minimal errors.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
- Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
- Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
